How do I apply for AMSE Membership?

Membership applications are accepted on the join page. If you are a military spouse wanting to start, scale, or sustain a business, we invite you to apply!

Some of the things we look for in applications are well-written and thoughtful responses, expertise in a particular field, exceptional prior work experiences, entrepreneurship, and social media feeds we feel share our passion.

What if we are retired or reserve spouses?

Once a spouse, always a spouse. Whether you are active duty, reserve, or retired from all branches of service, you are welcome here. 

How do I get in touch with customer service?

What do I get with my membership?

With an AMSE membership, you will receive opportunities to connect and grow with other members - in real life and online - as well as the connections and resources you need to build a business confidently alongside fellow spouses on the same unique journey. 

What is included in the membership?

SO MUCH! From Masterclasses to discounts to blueprints and templates for your business, this is your one-stop-shop for all your business resources.

How much does it cost to be a member?

Our membership is FREE! Anyone who is eligible for it can sign up for free here. 

We do offer an All-Access Pass, which offers you even more benefits like monthly group coaching, FREE advertising and features, an exclusive discount in our AMSE Shop, and more. The pass is $97 a month or $970 a year (2 months free).

What kind of business benefits will I receive?

AMSE is working hard to build a network of trusted resources for our members to use so that they can help focus on building their businesses with vetted professionals, master classes, group coaching, live events, campaign opportunities, coursework, coworking, chapters and so much more. We are just getting started. 

Are the discounts only available to members?

Yes! Only members can see and use our partner discounts. Do not share your login with non-members. Members who do share the login and codes may be asked to leave the community.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, but WE HOPE YOU WON'T! Please send an email to membership@amseagency.com, and we will address all of your concerns. Once you submit a request to cancel, please allow 2 business days to receive notice of cancelation. Your membership will be canceled on the next billing cycle.

I'm just starting out. Do I need to have a business to join? 

Even if you are just dreaming about starting your own business or working for yourself, JOIN! This is the place for you!

I've been in business for years - is this just for beginners?

This is a place for ALL stages of business owners. Even the most seasoned business owners can enjoy the discounts, tools, early access to events and campaigns, and most importantly THE COMMUNITY of other military spouses!

I'm a Nonprofit - does this help me, too?

Absolutely! To help guide you on your mission to make the world a better place, we have lots of great takeaways from some of the best nonprofit leaders.

I'm a Veteran - is this for Military Spouses ONLY?

As much as we love our veterans, this is a space for Military Spouses only. UNLESS you are a veteran AND a Military Spouse.

Is this for women only?

We are open to all spouses from all backgrounds and walks of life, including male and female spouses. As long as you are a Military Spouse, WE WELCOME YOU!

Where do events take place?

AMSE events take place in various cities nationwide. Our 8 chapters If you'd like to have a chapter in your area, please let us know here.

Do I have to choose a location?

Yes. Currently, you will be shown in the state you predominantly reside in. Other members will be able to search for you this way.

How do I create my profile?

Your profile is automatically created from your application.

Do I have to answer every question?

We know how busy you are, so trust us when we say that we appreciate all the thought you put into your responses. This is the way you are represented to the world, and we want you to put your best self out there. You're pretty amazing!

Can I change my profile after it's live?

Yes, your AMSE profile can be updated online as your personal information evolves. If you have any questions about the process, simply email membership@amseagency.com, and we can help you out.

AMSE members are grouped by industry. Please select the industry or industries that most represent the work you do. This will help other members find you to connect. 

How do I connect with other members?

Our messaging system is tied to your email account. This allows you to message members directly and receive their replies or outreach via email. If you are not comfortable with sharing your email, please make sure to use an email that you feel comfortable being available within our closed network.

Are there rules about replying?

As a common courtesy to our members, we ask that you reply to inbound messages within 14 business days (although we understand that things happen).

What about solicitation?

We all have a great businesses and want to share them, but actively trying to sell a product, spamming members, and using the AMSE platform as a way to solely sell your products is not allowed. If you feel that messages are bordering on solicitation, please notify the AMSE admin team. Members who solicit or market their services in an excessive fashion will be notified, and those who do not follow the member rules will be asked to leave the group.

How do I search for other members?

You can search our membership by industry, location, and name. We hope spouses traveling to different cities can use AMSE as a resource to help them build new relationships and get a warm welcome when they are stationed.
